Quick Start

Get up and running with Mimasa AI in minutes. This guide walks you through the essential steps to start analyzing your data.

Prerequisites

Before you begin you need a Mimasa AI workspace and an account with at least the permissions required to connect data sources, which is typically an admin or editor role. If you plan to integrate programmatically, generate an API key or set up an OAuth application from the workspace settings ahead of time. Having credentials for the data source you want to connect — such as a database or warehouse — will also let you complete this guide without interruption.

Create Your Account

Sign up for Mimasa AI and create or join a workspace, which is the isolated environment that will hold your data sources, dashboards and workflows. During setup you can invite teammates and assign them roles that determine what they are able to view, edit or execute. If your organization uses single sign-on, an administrator can configure it so that team members authenticate with existing corporate credentials instead of a separate password.

Connect Your Data

From the data sources section, add a connection to the system you want to analyze and provide the credentials Mimasa AI needs to read from it; these credentials are stored securely and scoped to the workspace. Once connected, the source can be synchronized on a schedule so dashboards and reports stay current. From there you can build your first chart or dashboard, or trigger a workflow, using either the web interface or the REST API.
