It is built for teams that need self-service analysis without giving up centralized control, so every user, dashboard and automation operates inside role-based permissions set by administrators. The same capabilities available in the web application are exposed through a REST API and SDKs for teams that want to embed or automate them.

The platform combines interactive dashboards and charts, AI-assisted analysis, automation workflows that can react to schedules or events, and a knowledge base for organizational context. Data sources are connected once and reused across dashboards and reports rather than being re-configured for each use case. Access is governed throughout by role-based permissions and workspace-scoped credentials, and every meaningful action is auditable, so growth in usage does not come at the cost of oversight.

Mimasa AI is organized around workspaces, each of which contains its own users, data sources, dashboards, workflows and reports, and each of which is isolated from other workspaces. Within a workspace, resources are governed by role-based access control so that a given user or API credential can only reach what its role permits. The web application, REST API and SDKs all sit on top of the same underlying services, which is why anything you can do in the browser can also be automated programmatically.
