Presentations

A presentation is assembled from existing charts, dashboards and text slides, letting you tell a story around your data without re-creating visualizations from scratch. Because slides can reference live charts, a presentation can reflect current data at the moment it is opened rather than a stale snapshot. Slides can be reordered, annotated, and grouped into sections to match how you plan to walk an audience through the material.

Templates provide a starting layout for common presentation types, such as a monthly business review or a workflow performance summary, so teams do not rebuild the same structure repeatedly. Applying a template sets up slide placeholders that you then populate with your own charts and commentary. Teams can also save their own presentations as templates to standardize reporting across the organization.

Finished presentations can be shared as a live link that always reflects current data, or exported as a static file for offline viewing and distribution outside the workspace. Static exports capture the data as of the export time, which is useful for archival or compliance purposes where a fixed record is required. Both sharing and export honor the underlying permissions of the charts and dashboards included in the presentation.
