Installation

Learn how to install and configure Mimasa AI for your organization. Mimasa AI is available as a managed cloud service and, for teams with stricter isolation requirements, as an on-premise deployment.

System Requirements

The cloud offering requires only a modern web browser and outbound HTTPS access to reach the Mimasa AI application and, if you integrate programmatically, to https://api.mimasa.ai/v1. Network administrators should ensure that domain is reachable through any corporate proxy or firewall. On-premise deployments have additional infrastructure requirements covering compute, storage and networking, which your Mimasa AI account team will confirm for your environment during onboarding.

Cloud Deployment

The cloud deployment is the fastest way to get started: you create a workspace, invite your team, and connect data sources without managing any infrastructure yourself. Mimasa AI operates the underlying services, applies platform updates, and enforces workspace isolation and role-based access control on your behalf. Most organizations start here and only consider an on-premise deployment if data residency or network isolation requirements demand it.

On-Premise Setup

For organizations that must keep data inside their own network boundary, Mimasa AI can be deployed on-premise or in a private cloud environment. Setup involves provisioning the required infrastructure, configuring connectivity to your internal data sources, and integrating with your identity provider for authentication. Because on-premise environments vary widely, initial setup is typically done together with your Mimasa AI implementation team to match your organization's security and networking requirements.
