Connect and manage your data sources in Mimasa AI. Data sources are the governed connections that feed every chart, dashboard, report and workflow in a workspace.
Supported Sources
Mimasa AI connects to common relational databases, cloud data warehouses, and file- or API-based sources, letting most organizations bring their existing data into the platform without building custom pipelines. New source types are added over time, and a workspace can connect as many sources as its plan allows. Each source is configured once and then reused across every chart, dashboard and report that needs it.
Connection Setup
Setting up a connection involves selecting the source type and providing the credentials Mimasa AI needs to read from it, which are encrypted and scoped to the workspace rather than to an individual user. Connection health is checked at setup time and can be re-verified later if credentials rotate or network access changes. Only users with sufficient role permissions can create or modify a data source connection.
Data Sync
Once connected, a data source can be synchronized on a schedule so dashboards and reports reflect current data without manual intervention, or refreshed on demand for time-sensitive analysis. Sync status and history are visible from the data source detail page and are also exposed through the API, so automated systems can confirm a refresh completed before, for example, triggering a downstream report.
