Charts
Build powerful charts and data visualizations with Mimasa AI. Charts are the individual visual building blocks that dashboards and reports are composed from.
Chart Types
Mimasa AI supports the common chart types used in business analytics — line, bar, area, pie, scatter, tables and single-value metrics — each configurable against any connected data source. The right chart type depends on the question being asked: trends over time typically suit line or area charts, while comparisons across categories suit bar charts or tables. Chart configuration, including type, is available both from the UI and through the charts API.
Customization
Each chart can be customized with axis labels, color schemes, aggregation functions, sorting and value formatting so it communicates its data clearly to its intended audience. Calculated fields and filters can be applied at the chart level without altering the underlying data source. Customizations are saved with the chart, so the same visual definition is reused wherever the chart is embedded.
Interactivity
Charts support interactive features such as hovering for exact values, clicking a data point to drill into underlying records, and responding to dashboard-level filters in real time. Interactivity makes a single chart useful for both a quick glance and a deeper investigation without needing to build a separate view for each. These behaviors are preserved whether the chart is viewed in the app, embedded, or fetched through the API for use elsewhere.
