Every query respects the role-based permissions and dataset-level access controls configured for your workspace, so analysts see only the data they are entitled to see. Results can be saved, shared with teammates, or promoted into a dashboard or scheduled report.

The analysis workspace supports filtering, grouping, joining across connected sources, and building calculated fields, all without writing raw queries by hand for common cases. Analysts working with SQL can also write queries directly against connected data sources for more advanced scenarios. Every analysis is versioned and attributable to the person who ran it, which keeps ad-hoc exploration auditable in the same way as production dashboards.

Mimasa AI can surface AI-generated observations about a dataset, such as notable trends, outliers or correlations, to help analysts decide where to look next. These insights are suggestions to speed up exploration rather than a replacement for reviewing the underlying data, and they respect the same permissions as the source they are derived from.
